Objectives

The objectives of Mahad' ad-Dawat' al Islamiya are the result of a cross-border conference of Islamic scholars from Pakistan and Afghanistan held in Jalalabad in March 2009. The objectives of the academy are:


The Islamic Vocational Academy imparts higher career-oriented education to graduates of religious madrassahs. The Academy gives madrassah graduates a grounding in media, business studies and traditional Unani medicine. The aim is:
  • To increase career options for Islamic scholars- in line with their own academic background.
  • To improve their economic well-being.
  •  To enable them to serve their religion and community in the idiom of the age and to contribute to society in a wide range of fields.
  • To make religious scholars more effective as a force for peace, progress, prosperity and piety in the modern world.
