There are four departments in the Islamic Vocational Academy:
1. Islamic Outreach Department
2. Journalism and Mass Communication Department
3. Business Studies Department
4. Traditional Herbal Medicine Department
 
Study in the Islamic Outreach Department is compulsory for all students, who also study one other vocational subject.
